When I listen to my body, I WIN. When I ignore my body, I LOSE.
The other day I shared some signs that you may be disconnected from yourself.
I then took some time to think about where this disconnection actually comes from.
Here are my thoughts on the topic:
How is it possible that even though we all live in a physical body, we still get disconnected from it?
Disconnection from your body can look like:
- Not trusting what you feel in your body
- Feeling certain sensations, or what we call your “GUT FEELING” and doubting it,
- Noticing that your intuition is trying to tell you something…but question it
- Wondering whether you can be sensitive enough to tap into your intuition so easily
Many years ago I had a very traumatic experience because I didn’t listen to my gut feeling or intuition (however you prefer to call it).
As I was packing and preparing for a trip, I noticed several signals from my intuition telling me NOT to go. BUT I WANTED TO! My mind was strongly attached to visiting this country.
Even on the day of my departure, again I heard my inner voice saying: Stop and let go of this trip! I didn’t. I got on the boat, the bus, the airplane.
And guess what, my intuition was right!
As soon as I landed at the airport, my visa was cancelled. I wasn’t allowed to enter the county and had to board the next plane back.
You see, I wanted to follow my MIND. I was so eager to go on this trip. I WANTED to be there badly.
But for whatever reason, it wasn’t meant to be. Not under those circumstances.
And my body knew it. How did my body know, you might ask?
